How do i tell my bf to hold back when ppl are watching?

i've been going out with him for about a month, he's my first bf and hes 2 years older (i'm 14) he likes to hug me and put his arms around me and stuff, and when he leaves we kiss for a moment. he got a detention last week for being late to first hour. i've already had a few complaints from people and teachers giving weird looks. i don't want them thinking i'm some sort of tramp. i really love him, and i'm afraid he'll think i don't if i keep holding back
