I found my boyfriend's Viagra... Should I bring up the subject?

I am a woman (despite my yahoo name). I was looking for a bandaid at my boyfriend's place and I found viagra in his vanity drawer. I am upset, mainly because I'd be happy to just lie with him and snuggle up when things don't go as planned, rather than have him take something to help him perform. I don't know how men think, but I feel so bad that he thinks he needs Viagra to please me. He is such a kind and loving man that the is just the icing on the cake, so to speak. I could certainly live without it. For whatever reason, he felt the need to use it, so, will I just make him feel bad if I bring it up? We've been going out for 2 years and I think we're very compatible. I worry that he may be less confident than I thought and I don't want this to be an issue, one way or the other. I hope he didn't feel "under pressure" to please me. If Ibring up the subject - how do I do it? (We are both in our 40's)
