Does anyone else find that ..?

Hugh Laurie (the actor) has a lot of similarities to the character he protrays in the show "House"? He plays Dr.House. Hugh Laurie and Dr. House both play the piano, ride motorcycles, and are depressed. Is this intentional or just a coincidence ?
