Christians: Why do different denominations have different beliefs in the afterlife using the bible?

Everyone interprets the bible differently. I believe we go right to heaven(those who are saved) when we die. Can not find the bible verse. Either way, everyone who dies in Christ and know Him as their Savior are going to heaven anyway.
